Attorney Sarah Mussel has practiced law in Pennsylvania since 2003, focusing exclusively on family law since 2007. She is experienced in the areas of divorce, child support, alimony, custody, marital agreements and protection from abuse.
Attorney Mussel received her undergraduate degree in psychology, summa cum laude, from Marshall University in 2000. While in college, she assisted families as a Court Appointed Special Advocate, and served as a research assistant in the Marshall Department of Phycology. Attorney Mussel received a full scholarship from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University, where she earned her law degree in 2003. While attending law school, she volunteered with both the Disability and Family Law Clinics, and was president of the law school’s Public Interest Law Fund. Prior to entering private practice, Attorney Mussel was law clerk to the Honorable Roger N. Nanovic, II, in Carbon County, Pennsylvania.
Before joining the firm, Attorney Mussel served the Lehigh Valley as a solo practitioner for 11 years, specializing in family law matters. In addition to her solo practice, Attorney Mussel served as counsel in Domestic Relations contempt matters in Lehigh County for over 10 years and as a divorce review officer for the Lehigh County Court of Common Pleas. Attorney Mussel is a member of the Pennsylvania and Lehigh County Bar Associations. She was case editor for the Lehigh Law Journal from 2014-2016.
