Attorney Julie Sodl joined the law firm of Saltzman & Gordon in 2017. She graduated from Lycoming College in 2009 with a B.A. in English Literature. She then attended Widener University Delaware Law School on a merit scholarship. While in law school, Attorney Sodl served as Research Editor of The Widener Law Review and participated in Widener's Intensive Trial Advocacy Program. She also participated in Widener's Veterans Law Clinic, providing free legal aid for qualified veterans who have been denied compensation benefits as well as the Wills for Heroes program, which provides free legal services for first responders, including basic wills, powers of attorney and advance health care directives. Attorney Sodl graduated with honors from Delaware Law in 2013. She is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Following her graduation from law school, Attorney Sodl had the pleasure of serving as judicial law clerk for the Honorable President Judge William E. Baldwin in the Schuylkill County Court of Common Pleas from 2013 until 2017, where she was exposed to a variety of legal fields, including Criminal Law, Family Law, and Personal Injury cases.
Attorney Sodl currently resides in the Lehigh Valley with her husband and two Australian Shepherds, Chip and Finn. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, crocheting and dabbling in photography.
